For a wonderful Santa Experience, Here's a checklist to follow:
Do you want Santa to bring presents for the children? If so, we recommend something small, no bigger than a shoe box, wrapped, with the child's name plainly visible. Leave these on the front porch, or garage, where Santa knows to pick them up and place them in his bag. Handing out the presents will be the last thing Santa does before leaving.
Santa needs to know how many kids to expect, and if any have special needs or requirements.
Is it ok to talk about the Real meaning of Christmas (Jesus' Birth) ?
Is there something special Santa should know about one of the older kids, or adults, like a favorite toy they received one Christmas, or a special award they might have won that year. Anything to make Santa more believable, especially for those doubting years.
At The Santa Experience, we believe that the Christmas season is all about coming together and celebrating with loved ones. That's why we've created this as more than just a picture taking event.
Here's what to expect:
Santa will arrive and come in with his big toy bag, Jingle Bells and Walking Stick. He might come in with a big HO HO HO, or he might come in singing one of his favorite songs. Then he greets everyone and might even have them sing a song with him. Once he takes off his coat and gets comfortable, he will tell stories about his sleigh, his elves, Mrs. Claus, and of course his special reindeer. While telling the stories, a little magic usually happens, and sometimes you get to see one of Rudolph's antlers that he shed a while ago. Then when Santa gets ready to go, he passes out the presents, does a countdown in ELFISH, let's the kids open their presents, while he heads to his next magical appointment. This is not a timed event, it depends on the situation and the magical fun that's happening.
